Job Description
Job Title: Data Analyst, Business Analysis and Reporting Role Summary: Deliver end‑to‑end advanced data analytics solutions to improve supply‑chain profitability and performance. Leverage programming, statistics, machine learning, and business intelligence to create descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive models for internal stakeholders. Expectations: - Actively participate in cross‑functional strategic initiatives. - Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and self‑direction. - Maintain continuous learning of new technical tools and methodologies. - Support leadership decisions through actionable insights and advisory services. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy analytical models (descriptive, predictive, prescriptive) for retail, RBU, corporate forecasting, and support functions. - Build and maintain interactive dashboards and leadership reporting tools. - Conduct ad‑hoc analyses and provide insights to supply‑chain and other corporate teams. - Lead or contribute to complex cross‑functional projects, ensuring deliverables meet business needs. - Maintain and evolve data engineering pipelines, including feature engineering and data wrangling. Required Skills: - Proficiency in SQL (Teradata, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, or equivalent). - Strong programming skills in R and/or Python for statistical modeling and algorithm development. - Advanced knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and basic accounting principles. - Expertise in data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). - Project management, prioritization, and multi‑tasking capabilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong stakeholder engagement. - Ability to work under pressure, with flexibility for extended hours when required. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related analytical field. - 3+ years of analytics experience (or equivalent education). - Preferred: Master’s degree in Analytics, MBA, or related discipline; INFORMS Certified Analytics Professional or equivalent. ---
