**Job title:** ServiceNow Developer
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow solutions that automate business processes, improve operational reporting, and support ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, and HR modules. Collaborate with architecture teams, produce solution artifacts, and lead technical discussions to ensure robust, scalable implementations.
**Expactations:**
- Maintain a Public Trust clearance and up‑to‑date ServiceNow certifications (ITSM, CIC, etc.).
- Lead solution development and provide technical guidance to team members.
- Communicate complex concepts clearly to stakeholders and produce concise documentation.
- Support continuous improvement by prototyping, presenting, and driving change initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop ServiceNow applications, workflows, business rules, and integrations (REST, SOAP).
- Create architecture diagrams, roadmaps, and optimization plans beyond user stories.
- Analyze client requirements and translate them into technical solution designs.
- Ensure data integrity for CMDB, HAM, SAM, and other IT data sources.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on application architecture reviews.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment cycles.
- Validate and maintain required certifications for ongoing practice excellence.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years ServiceNow development experience across ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, HR.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, UI/UX (XHTML, CSS3, Angular), SQL, XML, PHP, .NET, or Java.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, data models, and integration patterns.
- Experience with SAML, Active Directory, LDAP; REST/SOAP web services.
- Excellent written and oral communication, technical leadership, and initiative.
- Ability to run high‑growth, fast‑paced projects and manage stakeholder expectations.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 years’ experience or Master’s with 1 year, or 7 + years’ experience in lieu of a degree.
- ServiceNow ISV Certifications: ITSM, ITIL v4 Foundations, and at least one of CIS – ITSM, CIS – Customer Service Management, CIS – Discovery, CIS – Service Mapping, CIS – Strategic Portfolio Management.
- Additional certifications preferred: CIS – Application Portfolio Management, CIS – Software Asset Management, CIS – Hardware Asset Management.
- Project Management or Agile certification (PMP, Scrum Master) is a plus.
