**Job Title:** Senior Information Technology Business Analyst **Role Summary:** Strategic, hands‑on analyst responsible for eliciting, documenting, and translating business needs into technical solutions. Partners with business and IT stakeholders to design, integrate, and deliver enterprise‑scale systems, ensuring alignment with architecture, security, and performance standards while mentoring junior analysts. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality requirement artifacts and user stories. - Lead integration initiatives (APIs, middleware, data exchanges). - Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and meet performance criteria. - Drive vendor selection, RFP processes, and implementation planning. - Support QA/UAT, monitor post‑implementation performance, and promote continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** - Gather and document detailed business, functional, and technical requirements. - Analyze current processes, systems, and infrastructure; identify improvement and integration opportunities. - Translate needs into specifications, user stories, and technical designs for development teams. - Facilitate solution design sessions with cross‑functional teams, considering infrastructure impacts. - Create business process documentation, data flow diagrams, and system maps (current and future state). - Participate in vendor evaluations, RFP creation, and implementation planning. - Define test cases, validate results, and ensure end‑to‑end workflow integrity during QA/UAT. - Monitor solution performance post‑go‑live and recommend enhancements. - Mentor junior analysts; contribute to standards, tools, and frameworks. **Required Skills:** - Business process modeling and requirements elicitation. - API integration, system interoperability, middleware technologies. - Understanding of networks, servers, cloud platforms, and security protocols. - Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Visio/Lucidchart, MS Office. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities. - Ability to work with both technical and non‑technical audiences. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field. - 5+ years experience as an IT Business Analyst focusing on enterprise systems and integrations. - Preferred: Master’s degree or MBA. - Preferred certifications: CBAP, PMI‑PBA, ITIL, TOGAF. - Familiarity with enterprise platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Workday, Salesforce, SAP) and data tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
