Job title: Linux / AWS / DevOps Engineer Role Summary: Develop and maintain highly scalable, reliable, and secure Wealth Management services on AWS, leveraging Linux/Windows administration, containerization, and automation to deliver continuous delivery pipelines and robust monitoring. Expectations: Deliver resilient, high‑performance infrastructure; automate all reproducible tasks; maintain rigorous security and compliance; support 24/7 operations with on‑call rotations; collaborate cross‑functionally to drive architecture improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain AWS environments (EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, IAM, etc.) for production and pre‑production stages. - Provision and configure Linux/Windows servers, SQL‑Server and PostgreSQL databases. - Develop automation and configuration management code using Ansible, Terraform (Chef/Puppet optional). - Create, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Git‑based workflows. - Deploy and manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Docker. - Implement and refine monitoring, alerts, and observability via Dynatrace, NewRelic, AppDynamics, Splunk, CloudWatch, and Nagios. - Respond to incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive post‑mortem improvements. - Design test plans, develop automation testing frameworks, and validate deployment quality. - Conduct security patching, vulnerability assessments, and compliance readiness (WAF, IAM, Key Management). - Engage in capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimization. - Mentor and train IT staff on DevOps practices and toolsets.
