**Job Title:**
Vice President Finance (Interim)
**Role Summary:**
Deliver senior financial leadership during a critical transition, partnering directly with the CEO and executive team to strengthen financial operations, reporting, and controls. Lead end‑to‑end NetSuite implementation and optimization, drive financial process improvements, and ensure audit-ready, accurate, and timely financial reporting.
**Expectations:**
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, guiding financial strategy and execution.
- Own NetSuite implementation, from design through go‑live support.
- Maintain high standards of financial reporting, month‑end close, and internal controls.
- Improve financial processes, policies, and workflows to support scalable growth.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow planning, and financial analysis.
- Facilitate audit readiness and liaise with external auditors.
- Mentor and stabilize the finance team during transition.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Provide senior‑level financial leadership and strategic counsel to the CEO and executive team.
2. Lead or support comprehensive NetSuite implementation: system design, configuration, testing, and go‑live.
3. Oversee financial reporting, month‑end close, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
4. Evaluate and refine financial processes, policies, and workflows for scalability and efficiency.
5. Develop and maintain budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow management processes.
6. Partner with FP&A, accounting, and operations to drive data‑driven decision making.
7. Ensure audit readiness, coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and advisors.
8. Mentor and stabilize the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance culture.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven experience as VP of Finance, Head of Finance, or equivalent senior finance role.
- Direct, end‑to‑end NetSuite implementation experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial controls, and best practices.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous/transitional environments and quickly add value.
- Hands‑on, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves mindset with strategic perspective.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional certifications: CPA, CMA, or equivalent highly desirable.
- NetSuite certification beneficial.
