Job Title: Chatbot / Conversational AI Business Analyst
Role Summary:
Acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to design, develop, and deploy chatbot, translator, and speech‑to‑text solutions. Manages the entire product lifecycle—from user research and requirements capture to testing, release, and post‑deployment support—while ensuring alignment with emerging LLM and GenAI technologies.
Expectations:
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high user‑satisfaction standards.
- Maintain a prioritized, transparent backlog and robust sprint cadence.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, SMEs, and cross‑functional teams, resolving issues and providing training.
- Keep abreast of cutting‑edge AI/ML advances and recommend enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct user, customer, and market research; gather qualitative/quantitative data, run workshops and surveys.
2. Translate research findings into business requirements, functional/non‑functional specs, user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
3. Manage backlogs, groom stories, prioritize features, and define release plans.
4. Coordinate with design, engineering, QA, and operations to ensure deliverables meet specifications.
5. Develop and execute test plans, validate solutions, and sign off releases.
6. Communicate progress, risks, and insights to executives, steering committees, and stakeholders.
7. Provide end‑user training, support, and content management for chatbot/translator SMEs.
8. Perform data analysis; build dashboards and visualizations (Power BI, Excel).
9. Maintain product documentation, user guides, demo videos, and technical artifacts.
10. Stay current on LLM, GenAI, DialogFlow, Google Speech APIs, Translation, Text‑to‑Speech, and AI/ML trends.
Required Skills:
- Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow.
- Strong stakeholder management: negotiation, conflict resolution, escalation.
- Proficient in requirements engineering, backlog grooming, user story writing, acceptance criteria, test planning.
- Technical writing and clear communication to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Data analysis and visualization using Power BI, Excel.
- Familiarity with web‑based application development life cycle.
- Hands‑on experience with chatbots, conversational AI, translation, STT, LLM, GenAI.
- Knowledge of DialogFlow, Google Speech Recognition, Machine Translation, Text‑to‑Speech, AI/ML frameworks.
- MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Ability to convert business requirements into actionable technical design.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analysis, or related discipline.
- Professional certifications (preferred): CBAP/CCBOK, CSM or equivalent Agile/Scrum, ISTQB or similar testing credentials.
- Relevant training in AI/ML fundamentals or product ownership frameworks.
