Job Description

Job Title: Lead Java Developer Role Summary: Architect, develop, test, and maintain Java EE applications, focusing on business logic, UI enhancements, reporting, and data model extensions. Lead code reviews, implement testing and security standards, support multi‑environment deployments, and provide on‑call incident support. Expectations: • 8+ years experience in Java OOP, J2EE, SQL, RESTful services, Spring AOP (transaction, security), and unit testing with JUnit. • Proven ability to design and modify scalable business logic, user interfaces, and reporting modules. • Strong knowledge of coding standards, code coverage, and security procedures. • Availability for on‑call support as required. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze user requirements and system flow to develop functional specifications. • Design, code, and deploy updates to SCOR Java platform, including UI, business logic, and data model changes. • Enhance reporting capabilities using Crystal Reports and Power BI. • Write and maintain SQL queries for relational databases. • Develop RESTful services on Spring framework and manage AOP concerns. • Perform unit testing with JUnit; conduct peer code reviews and defect root‑cause analysis. • Maintain documentation, test plans, and security compliance. • Support application operations across multiple environments and handle defect resolution. • Participate in on‑call rotation for incident response.
