Job Description

Job Title: Salesforce Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce. Configure and optimize platform features, build integrations with external systems, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment. Expectations: 6‑12 month contract with potential extension; onsite presence 3‑4 days per week. Key Responsibilities: - Develop Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and scheduled jobs. - Build Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages. - Configure Flows, Process Builder, Workflows, Validation Rules, Custom Objects, Page Layouts, and Record Types. - Implement Sales Cloud (Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Forecasting) and Service Cloud (Cases, Omni‑Channel, Knowledge, Entitlements) functionality. - Design scalable data models and adhere to Salesforce best practices. - Create and maintain integrations via REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica), or native connectors. - Ensure secure, high‑performance data exchange. - Collaborate with business analysts, admins, architects, QA, and product teams to translate requirements into technical designs. - Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and deployment planning. - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to Salesforce, integrations, or data. - Maintain documentation, version control, testing, and adhere to CI/CD pipelines. - Stay current with Salesforce releases and recommend platform enhancements. Required Skills: - Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components. - Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, Workflows, Validation Rules. - REST/SOAP API integration, platform events, middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica). - Version control (Git), CI/CD, DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset). - Data migration tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, ETL). - Agile/Scrum delivery experience. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred). - Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications. - Salesforce Administrator certification. - Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud Consultant certification.
