Job Title: Cloud Engineer
Role Summary: Design, build, maintain cloud infrastructure focused on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and standardized deployments. Collaborate with architecture, security, networking, and application teams to deliver scalable, secure Azure solutions.
Expactations: Minimum 5 years IT experience (3+ in Azure), proficiency in IaC tools (Bicep, Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, Azure automation, scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI), troubleshooting, and foundational Azure networking/security knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain Azure infrastructure using IaC (Bicep, ARM Templates, Terraform).
- Deploy cloud resources across environments via CI/CD pipelines.
- Support cloud infrastructure/PAAS deployments and standardize reusable components.
- Collaborate on networking components (VNets, NSGs, firewalls, load balancers, DNS).
- Troubleshoot deployment failures, infrastructure, and connectivity issues.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and backup/DR standards.
- Implement backup, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Monitor, optimize, and document cloud operations (runbooks, knowledge sharing).
Required Skills:
- Azure infrastructure design/build via IaC.
- CI/CD pipeline management.
- Azure automation/scripting (Bicep, PowerShell, Azure CLI).
- Azure networking, security, and governance.
- Deployment troubleshooting.
Required Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). No required certifications.
