Job Description
Job title: Scrum Master Role Summary: Lead cross‑functional agile teams to deliver product value on time, within budget, and in scope. Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, coach teams on agile practices, remove impediments, and ensure continuous improvement. Act as the liaison between product owners, managers, and developers. Expactations: Demonstrated senior Scrum Master experience in a complex, multi‑team environment; strong project management skills; ability to handle competing priorities and drive projects from planning through release. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑up, Sprint Review, Retrospective) for multiple product owners and teams. - Serve as the primary point of contact for product owners, developers, and stakeholders to resolve impediments and coordinate scope changes. - Develop, maintain, and communicate release calendars, budgets, and progress reports. - Coach teams on agile principles, values, and practices; enforce working agreements and promote a culture of continuous improvement. - Conduct capacity planning, resource allocation, and sprint estimation in collaboration with team leads and managers. - Gather and analyze KPI data to drive process improvements and report on team health. - Document and communicate product development processes, policies, and best practices. - Shield teams from external interruptions, ensuring focus on sprint commitments. Required Skills: - Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent). - Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict‑resolution abilities. - Expertise in Scrum and Scrum planning tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar). - Project management fundamentals: estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder communication. - Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of translating business requirements into user stories and tasks. - Analytical mindset for identifying and eliminating impediments. - Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, changing environments with competing priorities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) required.
