Job Title: Infrastructure Project Manager Role Summary: Lead and deliver a Windows Server lifecycle upgrade programme, taking over an in‑flight project, coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams to transition the existing server estate to supported operating systems while maintaining schedule, scope, budget, and quality. Expectations: Deliver the migration within the agreed timeframe and budget, minimise business disruption, ensure all governance, change control, and quality controls are met, and provide transparent reporting to senior stakeholders and governance boards. Key Responsibilities: - Assume day‑to‑day ownership of the Windows Server migration programme, ensuring smooth handover and continuity. - Oversee the migration of the existing server estate to new OS versions, guaranteeing minimal downtime. - Manage dependencies, risks, and resource allocation across multiple workstreams. - Coordinate with internal technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to maintain delivery cadence. - Track and report progress to governance boards and senior stakeholders; drive timely decision‑making. - Maintain focus on deliverables, keeping the programme on time and within budget. - Implement and maintain effective RAID management and change control processes. - Ensure QA, testing, and acceptance criteria are satisfied before go‑live. - Resolve blockers and escalations to sustain momentum in a fast‑paced environment. - Coordinate service transition, ensuring workloads meet governance, service acceptance, and operational readiness for go‑live.
