Job Description
**Job Title** New Product Introduction Engineer **Role Summary** Act as the interface between R&D and production to ensure new products transition from design to efficient, manufacturable production. Build and test prototypes, develop assembly instructions, train operators, support quality and troubleshooting, and coordinate transfer to global sites. **Expectations** - Deliver end‑to‑end New Product Introduction (NPI) projects on time and within scope. - Provide production‑ready documentation and training materials. - Maintain up‑to‑date BOMs, labels and work instructions. - Support production sites and subcontractors, including occasional overseas travel. - Proactively identify and resolve quality issues, proposing corrective actions. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Review R&D designs for manufacturability and propose design‑for‑manufacturing improvements. 2. Build and assemble prototypes (cabling, soldering, mechanical assembly). 3. Create first‑time assembly instructions, production flows and SOPs for operators. 4. Train production personnel on new processes and best practices. 5. Monitor production quality, investigate non‑conformities and drive corrective actions. 6. Update and maintain production documentation (BOMs, labels, instructions). 7. Coordinate product transfer to international production sites and subcontractors. 8. Provide on‑site or remote troubleshooting support during production roll‑out. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in prototype construction and basic electronics assembly. - Ability to interpret 3D CAD files and generate manufacturing drawings. - Strong problem‑solving skills and hands‑on practical mindset. - Excellent communication and adaptability to switch between tasks. - Good written and spoken English; Dutch language knowledge is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electromechanics, or a related technical field. - Experience in a production environment is preferred but early‑career graduates are welcome.
