Job Description

**Job Title** ServiceNow IRM Engineer **Role Summary** Design, configure, develop, test, and deliver scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform for Compliance & Risk domains. Apply Java expertise and FSS knowledge to create optimal, secure integrations, guide product owners, and support continuous improvement within an Agile scrum environment. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑quality projects on schedule and within budget. - Produce clear design and implementation documentation. - Mentor junior engineers and enforce coding and performance standards. - Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Scrum Team members. **Key Responsibilities** - Analyze requirements and design ServiceNow configurations/Extensions. - Develop custom Java integrations and ServiceNow components. - Write functional and technical design documents. - Estimate effort for design, build, test, and deployment phases. - Conduct code reviews, unit/integration testing, and user‑acceptance testing. - Prepare production release configurations and support deployment. - Escalate issues, provide feedback, and propose specification changes. - Offer consulting to product owners, aligning solutions with business goals. - Contribute to the technical roadmap and architectural direction. - Evaluate third‑party tooling, security gaps, and recommend enhancements. - Participate in Agile ceremonies using tools such as Rally. **Required Skills** - ServiceNow configuration, scripting, and platform administration. - Java development (Back‑end integration, APIs). - FSS (Functional Security Systems) experience or strong security domain knowledge. - Agile scrum principles & experience with Rally or equivalent. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. - Ability to produce clear documentation and deliver technical training. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or higher. - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred. - Java developer certification (e.g., Oracle Java SE) preferred.
