Job Description
**Job title** Sr Systems & Cloud Engineer **Role Summary** Lead and manage the hybrid Microsoft cloud environment for a professional services firm. Provide hands‑on system administration, incident response, and support for investment, operations, and compliance teams on a 6‑month on‑site contract (potential hire). **Expectations** - 6‑month onsite contract with potential hire. - Work in office daily; available 24/7/365 for on‑call support. - Resolve desktop, mobile, and AV issues promptly, coordinate with vendors and stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** - Administer Azure AD Hybrid (MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, Azure AD Connect). - Manage Microsoft Intune (Autopilot, MDM, compliance) and enterprise desktop OS deployment. - Oversee Windows Server, virtualization platforms, and M365 suite (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot). - Operate Microsoft Sentinel for incident investigation and manage patching via Windows Update for Business and Autopatch. - Provide Level 1–3 hands‑on support for desktops, mobile devices, and core infrastructure. - Maintain tenant hygiene, data governance, and compliance reporting. - Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for workflow automation and patch management. - Troubleshoot on‑site and remote incidents, including after‑hours emergencies. **Required Skills** - 10+ years in IT, including 5+ years managing 24/7/365 enterprise environments. - Expert administration of M365, Intune, Azure AD Hybrid, Conditional Access, and M365 security/compliance tools (DLP, SSO, Zero Trust). - Strong VMware (Essentials/Horizon), Active Directory/GPO, SCCM imaging. - Advanced PowerShell scripting; automated patch management and compliance reporting. - Level 3 on‑site and remote troubleshooting with solid network fundamentals. - Ability to handle after‑hours emergency incidents. **Required Education & Certifications** - BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent. - Industry technical certifications in Azure, Microsoft 365, and VMware (desired).
