**Job Title** Program Manager **Role Summary** Lead strategic multi‑project programs in the financial sector, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and governance frameworks. Own planning, execution, financial control, stakeholder alignment, and coaching of PMs and project staff. **Expectations** * Deliver predictable, high‑quality outcomes for programs exceeding $1 M. * Manage multiple concurrent projects (10–50 team members) across product, IT, operations, and client functions. * Apply hybrid Waterfall‑Agile (SAFe) methodology, maintain enterprise governance, and meet OKRs. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Program Leadership & Governance** - Own end‑to‑end planning, execution, and governance for complex, interdependent projects. - Establish steering‑committee cadence, reporting, decision forums, and communication plans. - Serve as primary escalation point; resolve issues and drive decisions. 2. **Delivery Oversight** - Oversee delivery of 2+ concurrent projects, ensuring scope, timing, budget, quality, and methodology compliance. - Guide PMs on appropriate delivery methodology and conduct RAID reviews. 3. **Financial & Resource Management** - Develop and monitor OPEX/ CAPEX allocations, vendor spend, burn rate, forecasts, and variances. - Maintain program‑wide resource visibility; resolve capacity constraints with functional managers. 4. **Stakeholder Management** - Facilitate steering‑committee meetings; update sponsors, executives, product & IT leaders. - Act as primary delivery contact for client‑facing programs; manage expectations and SOW changes. - Oversee vendor commitments, payments, and escalations. 5. **Team Leadership & Coaching** - Mentor PMs, PCOs, and delivery staff; deliver performance feedback with Portfolio Managers. - Foster accountability and continuous improvement culture. 6. **Planning, Reporting & Compliance** - Prepare all program‑level reports (dashboards, financial updates, risk summaries). - Support early‑stage planning: requirements, scoping, due diligence, estimation. - Ensure documentation aligns with portfolio OKRs and audit/compliance requirements. **Required Skills** * Executive stakeholder influence and cross‑functional alignment. * Leadership of cross‑functional teams (10–50). * Expertise in hybrid Waterfall‑Agile (SAFe) delivery. * Enterprise governance, financial controls, RAID, change control. * Strong communication, escalation management, and decision‑making. **Required Education & Certifications** * College diploma or bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (or equivalent experience). * PMP, PRINCE2, or PgMP (minimum) for <4 years of PM experience or <5 years as Senior PM. * Agile/SAFe certifications (PMI‑ACP, Leading SAFe, Scrum Master) preferred. ---
