**Job Title:** Back End Developer **Role Summary:** Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs that power mission‑critical applications for a fast‑growing global technology company in the food and logistics sector. Work on microservices architecture, cloud platform integration, and performance optimization while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive measurable business impact. **Expectations:** - Minimum 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience. - Ability and willingness to work on‑site five days a week in a U.S. major metropolitan area (location specified in posting). - Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Go, Java, or Python). **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement scalable microservices and RESTful APIs. - Develop and deploy services using cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). - Containerize applications with Docker; orchestrate with Kubernetes. - Collaborate with product, data, and DevOps teams to deliver features with business impact. - Participate in system design, architecture reviews, and performance tuning sessions. - Maintain high code quality through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews. **Required Skills:** - Strong programming skills in Go or Java (Python proficiency acceptable). - Deep understanding of RESTful API design and microservices patterns. - Experience with distributed systems, event‑driven architecture, and data persistence (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis). - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation. - Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another STEM discipline.
