**Job Title:** Project Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Hands‑on Project Engineer responsible for end‑to‑end delivery of manufacturing and industrial projects, including asset acquisition, installation, commissioning, and facilities improvements. Manages budgets, documentation, and cross‑functional coordination while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
- Ensure full health, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout project lifecycle.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define project scope, create plans, and manage execution through commissioning to handover.
- Develop, monitor, and control project budgets and cost reporting.
- Produce and update User Requirement Specifications (URS), Gantt charts, progress reports, and other project records.
- Lead acquisition, installation, and commissioning of new manufacturing/production assets.
- Oversee software and hardware system implementation and integration with existing operations.
- Coordinate activities with internal stakeholders, external contractors, and suppliers to meet schedules and safety requirements.
- Manage compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), RAMS, CDM, and site safety standards.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven project engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong budgeting, cost control, and financial accountability abilities.
- Proficiency in project documentation tools (URS, Gantt, reporting).
- Ability to manage hardware/software integration projects.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills with cross‑functional teams.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory compliance (PTW, RAMS, CDM).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, or related discipline.
- Relevant project management or engineering certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) advantageous but not mandatory.
