Job Description: **Job title:** Senior Shopify Developer **Role Summary:** Lead the development, optimisation, and scaling of a global eCommerce platform across multiple international Shopify storefronts. Drive feature releases, performance improvements, and UX enhancements while collaborating with marketing and trading teams. **Expactations:** - Deliver high‑quality, responsive storefronts under tight timelines. - Maintain clean, efficient codebases and adhere to industry best practices. - Partner with multi‑disciplinary teams (design, marketing, trading) to translate business needs into technical solutions. - Provide architectural guidance and mentor mid‑level developers. - Participate in a structured 3‑stage interview process and contribute to a data‑driven, autonomous working culture. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain Shopify stores (theme, Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS). - Implement and integrate third‑party services (payments, shipping, analytics). - Conduct performance tuning, A/B testing, and continuous improvement of conversion rates. - Review and optimize site architecture for scalability across multiple regions. - Debug, troubleshoot, and support existing storefronts. - Document code, workflows, and best practices. - Collaborate with remote teams while attending monthly London meet‑ups. **Required Skills:** - 3+ years of professional Shopify development experience. - Proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, and theme customisation. - Strong knowledge of Shopify APIs, Polaris, and Theme Kit/CLI. - Experience with multi‑region or multi‑store deployments. - Familiarity with third‑party integrations (payment, shipping, marketing). - Solid understanding of SEO, site speed optimisation, and conversion‑rate best practices. - Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred). - Shopify Partner Certification or equivalent eCommerce development credentials highly desirable.
