Job Description

**Job Title** Shopify Developer **Role Summary** Build, customize, and maintain Shopify stores for eCommerce brands. Work closely with developers, designers, product owners, and clients to deliver clean, scalable, and responsive solutions using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. **Expectations** - Communicate clearly and positively in a fully remote, collaborative team. - Deliver high‑quality code and solutions on time and iterate based on feedback. - Participate in continuous improvement of development practices and store performance. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop new Shopify themes and customize existing themes using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. - Implement responsive design and ensure optimal performance across devices. - Integrate third‑party apps, APIs, and custom functionality within Shopify. - Collaborate with designers, product owners, and clients to gather requirements and present solutions. - Write clean, maintainable code and conduct peer code reviews. - Diagnose and resolve bugs, performance issues, and compatibility problems. - Maintain version control (Git) and contribute to documentation. **Required Skills** - Proficient in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS. - Experience building Shopify stores (themes, custom objects, product pages). - Knowledge of Shopify API, Shopify CLI, and theme development workflow. - Familiarity with responsive design patterns and web performance best practices. - Version control using Git. - Strong communication skills, ability to work independently in a remote environment. - Team‑first mindset with a positive attitude toward collaboration and problem‑solving. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience. - Optional: Shopify Developer certification or related professional credentials.
