Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – Azure / AKS
Role Summary: Design, implement, and maintain scalable Azure-based cloud infrastructure with an emphasis on AKS. Ensure high availability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring, incident response, and automation.
Expectations: Deliver reliable, self‑healing cloud environments, rapidly resolve outages, and continuously improve system efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and manage Azure resources (AKS clusters, VMs, networking, storage).
- Implement monitoring and alerting with Dynatrace, Splunk, and Grafana; analyze metrics to pre‑empt issues.
- Conduct incident investigation, root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Automate configuration, provisioning, and deployment pipelines using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Perform capacity planning and performance tuning for workloads.
- Develop release engineering processes for software updates, integrating CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams; produce clear system documentation.
- Continuously evaluate and upgrade tooling, practices, and infrastructure to enhance reliability.
Required Skills:
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and AKS architecture.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and container lifecycle management.
- Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Python.
- Monitoring: Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana.
- Operating Systems: Windows, Linux.
- Databases: MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server.
- Familiarity with Camunda (preferred).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., AZ‑104, AZ‑303, AZ‑305) and Kubernetes/K8s experience are strongly preferred.
