Job Title: Business Analyst Role Summary Provide moderate to high‑complexity business and data analysis for federal government clients. Capture and document requirements, deliver insights, and manage project deliverables while collaborating closely with IT and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate reporting and system quality. Expectations Deliver on‑time, accurate analysis and recommendations. Maintain high customer satisfaction and adhere to federal security clearance standards. Communicate clearly in English; French language skills are an advantage. Key Responsibilities - Conduct business and data analysis for medium‑ to high‑complexity initiatives. - Document business requirements, processes, and data flows independently or within a team. - Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and data artifacts using tools such as SSRS, Power BI, and SQL. - Manage multiple priorities, schedules, and deliverables for medium to large initiatives. - Partner with IT to support system upgrades, security maintenance, and quality assurance of client service levels. - Interface with federal clients to understand needs, provide insight, and recommend solutions. - Ensure compliance with reliability and security clearances (Enhanced Level B). Required Skills - SQL query development; experience with SSRS Report Builder. - Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI and BI suite tools. - Strong analytical ability for moderate to highly complex data sets. - Understanding of business‑to‑IT alignment and information architecture. - Excellent client‑management, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills. - Effective communication in written and spoken English; French linguistic skills are an asset. - Proficient with databases, spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software. Required Education & Certifications - College diploma, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience; Health Informatics degree is an asset. - Minimum 3 years of relevant business analysis experience. - Must hold or obtain Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B) through fingerprinting, criminal record check, and credit check; residence in Canada for ≥5 years and permanent resident or Canadian citizenship required.
