Job Title: Information Technology Support Specialist
Role Summary: Junior IT support professional responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, deploying and imaging PCs, and maintaining documentation within a large industrial enterprise. Supports Windows and iOS environments, and assists with infrastructure changes across Texas and Mexico.
Expectations: Deliver high‑quality technical assistance, collaborate with senior staff, contribute to knowledge base improvements, and provide on‑call support during facility expansion. Must be capable of handling physical demands of hardware deployment and proficient in customer communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve PC, server, peripheral, software, and network problems (Windows, iOS, Office 365).
- Deploy, image, and configure PCs using SCCM and PXE boot.
- Provide remote and onsite support, utilizing enterprise tools and ticketing systems.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and asset inventory accurately.
- Assist with networking infrastructure changes, deployments, and related documentation.
- Participate in on‑call rotations and overtime support during expansion activities.
- Contribute to knowledge base creation and process improvement.
- Maintain professional customer relationships.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of IT support in a large enterprise setting.
- Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Office 365, iOS, and device management.
- Experience with SCCM, Azure AD, Active Directory, and O365.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (Fresh Service preferred).
- Ability to manage physical demands of hardware deployment.
Preferred Skills:
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Experience supporting networking infrastructure deployments and enterprise IT asset management.
- Familiarity with imaging tools and knowledge base development.
Required Education & Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (no specific degree required).
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator (preferred but not mandatory).
