Job Description
**Job Title** Systems Engineer – Active Directory Expert (F/M) **Role Summary** Lead technical governance and operation of Active Directory environments, manage critical system infrastructure, and drive modernization initiatives, including cloud migration, SSO integration, and automation. Provide end‑to‑end support for AD DS, Windows Server, virtualization, and hybrid Microsoft Azure services while collaborating with cybersecurity and DevOps teams. **Expectations** * Oversee all aspects of Active Directory architecture, security, and migration projects. * Ensure high availability of mission‑critical systems and deliver continuous process improvement. * Lead version upgrades, cloud integrations, and cross‑functional initiatives with minimal disruption. * Travel within France and internationally (Europe, Africa) as required. **Key Responsibilities** * Act as technical AD reference: design, manage, secure domains, forests, sites, and replication. * Administer and secure AD DS, OU structures, group policies, and user/group accounts. * Plan and execute migration to Azure AD, implement SSO solutions. * Maintain availability of Windows Server infrastructure, virtual machines (VMware vSphere, Proxmox). * Automate operational tasks and continuously improve processes through scripting and IaC. * Troubleshoot incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and coordinate with support teams. * Pilot version upgrades and migrations, ensuring seamless transition. * Integrate cloud services (Microsoft Azure, Office 365) and coordinate with cybersecurity and DevOps. * Deploy and manage SQL Server, SAN/NAS, backup (Veeam), and monitoring solutions. **Required Skills** * Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration. * In‑depth knowledge of Active Directory: design, administration, security, migration to Azure AD, SSO integration. * Proficient in Windows Server, PowerShell, Python, Bash. * Experience with VMware vSphere (Proxmox appreciated). * SQL Server installation, administration, and optimization. * Hybrid Microsoft Azure and Office 365 management. * Network, storage (SAN/NAS), backup (Veeam), and supervision tools. * DevOps mindset: automation, Infrastructure as Code, open‑source monitoring, orchestration, containerization, CI/CD pipelines. * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Fluent in English (written and spoken); Portuguese knowledge is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s to Master’s level (Bac+2 to Bac+5) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. * Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, MCSE, VMware Certified Professional) are advantageous but not mandatory.
