Job Title: Lead Salesforce Consultant (In‑Person Interview)
Role Summary:
Lead architect and lead implementation consultant for Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud solutions. Own end‑to‑end delivery, from discovery and requirements capture to configuration, development, testing, documentation, and stakeholder communication. Drive technical excellence, ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, and mentor team members across a 30‑month engagement.
Expectations:
- 15+ years overall IT experience, with a minimum of 7 years (84 months) hands‑on Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud configuration and administration.
- 5+ years (60 months) experience each in custom object design, page layout creation, record types, validation rules, workflow rules, Process Builder and Flow automation, security (profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing), reporting and dashboards, AppExchange integration, data management best practices, and release cycle adaptation.
- Proven leadership in managing scope, resources, and project timelines in an Agile environment.
- Strong client‑facing communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Willingness to work onsite; maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Salesforce platform through continuous learning and certification.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct client workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to elicit business requirements.
2. Translate requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and process flows.
3. Design and configure Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud architectures, including custom objects, fields, record types, validation rules, workflow, Process Builder, Flow, and Lightning Components.
4. Lead data load, cleansing, migration, and de‑duplication activities using native and third‑party tools.
5. Build, optimize, and maintain reports and dashboards that deliver actionable insights.
6. Perform unit, integration, and UAT testing; coordinate issue resolution and regression testing.
7. Document all configurations, customizations, and best‑practice guidelines; produce user and administrator guides.
8. Collaborate with developers, administrators, and project managers; conduct daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
9. Manage project scope, milestones, and deliverables; ensure adherence to quality, security, and compliance standards.
10. Mentor junior consultants, share knowledge through workshops and knowledge base contributions.
11. Keep abreast of Salesforce release updates, evaluate new features, and recommend enhancements.
Required Skills:
- Deep expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud administration and configuration.
- Advanced skills in custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, workflow, Process Builder, Flow, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components.
- Proficiency with data loading tools, data hygiene, and de‑duplication techniques.
- Strong understanding of data security models (profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules).
- Ability to build and customize dashboards, reports, and analytics.
- Familiarity with AppExchange marketplace and integration of third‑party solutions.
- Knowledge of Salesforce release cycles and continuous integration practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration in Agile environments.
- Problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of two Salesforce Administrator certifications (Certified Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant).
- Platform App Builder certification preferred; Apex or Lightning Web Component Developer certification highly valued.
- Active participation in ongoing certification development and professional learning.
