Junior Software Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and sustain scalable data‑processing and modeling applications across cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on‑premises environments. Participate in full software development life cycle activities while conducting cyber‑research, reverse engineering, and mobile application security analysis to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen system resilience.
**Expectations**
- 1+ year of professional software development in an operational setting
- Active Top Secret clearance
- Proficiency in at least one of C#, C/C++, Java, or Python
- Experience in scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Perl) and basic DevOps practices
- Ability to interpret complex technical findings and communicate them effectively to mixed‑audience stakeholders
**Key Responsibilities**
- Architect, code, test, and maintain data‑processing pipelines and analytics tools in cloud/on‑prem environments
- Manage end‑to‑end software lifecycle: requirements, development, testing, validation, deployment, and support
- Optimize data flow and analytical operations for enhanced performance and reliability
- Conduct reverse engineering and vulnerability assessment of secure mobile apps (Android/iOS) and other software components
- Produce technical documentation detailing architecture, research findings, and remediation tools
**Required Skills**
- Programming in C#, C/C++, Java, or Python
- Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, or Perl
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP (incl. serverless & microservices concepts)
- Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Network protocol analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump)
- Reverse engineering tools (IDA Pro, Hex‑Rays, OllyDbg)
- Knowledge of OS internals, TCP/IP stack, and compiler fundamentals
- Strong debugging and problem‑solving abilities
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Top Secret security clearance (current)
