Job Description
Job Title: Senior Engineer Role Summary: Lead complex engineering analyses and support design, review, and documentation across mechanical, electrical, civil, environmental, and building systems. Drive technical decision‑making for energy, water, and resilience projects, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements. Expectations: - Bachelor’s in engineering (or related field) with ≥8 years experience, or Master’s with ≥4 years. - Proven track record in multidisciplinary engineering projects. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and technical communication skills. - Ability to produce accurate calculations, reports, and design documentation. - Proficiency in engineering design software and data analysis tools. - Commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Job Title: DevOps Engineer – Remote Role Summary: Provide end‑to‑end database administration and infrastructure management across Microsoft SQL, Amazon Web Services, and DB2 z/OS environments. Support day‑to‑day operations, security hardening, performance tuning, and audit compliance while acting as the technical liaison between state staff and stakeholders. Expectations: - Minimum 5 years of full‑time experience in complex technology implementations. - 5 + years of hands‑on system administration with AWS services (EC2, RDS, ElastiCache, S3, Lambda, VPC, CloudWatch, IAM, WAF) and on‑premise databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, DB2). - 5 years of database architecture, performance optimization, and security hardening experience. - 4 years of expertise in deploying and managing AWS resources using CloudFormation and Terraform. - Strong communication and collaboration skills for interfacing with business and leadership teams.
