Job Description

**Job title:** Data Scientist – Machine Learning **Role Summary:** Collaborate with Enterprise Analytics, Data Engineering, and business stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy machine‑learning and statistical models on Vertex.ai. Drive data‑driven decision making through end‑to‑end data pipelines, model training, and executive‑level reporting. **Expectations:** - Translate business objectives into measurable analytics solutions. - Deliver actionable insights and recommendations that influence short‑term tactics and long‑term strategy. - Maintain model performance and data integrity within MLOps practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Partner with data scientists and engineers to build and validate ML and statistical models. - Develop, train, and deploy models on Vertex.ai; integrate with production workflows. - Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines using SQL and Python/R. - Create dashboards and visual tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent) for executives and stakeholders. - Communicate findings and recommendations in clear, actionable formats. - Identify opportunities to enhance data capabilities through third‑party tools and systems. - Contribute to building a comprehensive customer 360 view and predictive analytics framework. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in Python and/or R for applied statistics and machine‑learning. - Strong SQL skills for data pipeline creation and manipulation. - Knowledge of MLOps, data warehousing, data modeling, and architecture principles. - Experience building visual dashboards with Power BI, Tableau, or similar. - Ability to translate business goals into measurement strategies and reporting requirements. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, **or** - Master’s degree in Applied Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field. - Certifications in ML, data engineering, or analytics are welcome but not mandatory.
