**Job title**: Marketing Manager – France
**Role Summary**
Oversee and execute region‑specific brand activation, retail marketing, and distributor relationships for the Funko portfolio in France. Drive brand awareness, share of voice, and sales through integrated in‑store, online, and trade initiatives while managing the regional marketing budget and collaborating with sales, product, and digital teams.
**Expectations**
- Deliver measurable commercial results through data‑driven marketing plans.
- Maintain rigorous budget control and ROI analysis for all campaigns.
- Build strong, confidential relationships with distributors, retailers, and licensors.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead strategy and execution of in‑store visibility (POS), online merchandising, and trade marketing for priority Funko brands (Bitty Pop!, Loungefly, Mondo, and new launches).
- Coordinate joint plans with licensors for theatrical, gaming, streaming, and AAA releases.
- Manage and optimize the allocated regional marketing budget, basing decisions on insights, campaign performance, and sales impact.
- Collaborate with sales teams/Account Managers to create a 12‑month strategic marketing plan aligned with retail partner targets.
- Design bespoke POS, online assets, and in‑store events in partnership with Retailers.
- Work with Digital Marketing Manager on media campaigns, ensuring relevance and sales generation.
- Support PR efforts with market insights, contacts, and media database development.
- Ensure compliance with branding guidelines and approve in‑region marketing plans for distributors.
- Explore new retail partnerships and opportunities to grow market presence.
- Represent the brand at trade and consumer shows, and perform ad‑hoc administrative tasks (POs, store visits, photoshoots, market research).
- Liaise with Samples team for marketing campaign stock allocations.
**Required Skills**
- Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
- 3‑5+ years of brand marketing experience in the French or broader EMEA market.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to grow brand performance.
- Excellent prioritisation, multitasking, and deadline management.
- Clear communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder‑management skills.
- Analytical mindset, flexible approach, and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of Illustrator or similar design tools is desirable.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- Relevant marketing certifications (e.g., CMO, Digital Marketing) are an asset.
