Job Description: Job title: Domain Architect Role Summary: The Domain Architect bridges business strategy and IT capabilities, translating strategic objectives into actionable technological solutions and guiding their implementation to advance digital transformation initiatives. Expectations: - Minimum 5 years’ experience as an IT Business Architect. - Proficiency in Dutch (native/bilingual); English and French are advantageous. Key Responsibilities: - Align business and operational models with IT strategy in collaboration with leadership. - Develop and maintain business capability models, value streams, processes, and customer journey maps. - Assess project scope, complexity, and feasibility, leading to business case development. - Coordinate with solution, technical, infrastructure architects, business experts, and DevOps teams. - Collaborate with financial partners and product owners on cost‑benefit analyses and solution scenarios. - Own business case drafting and validation, ensuring alignment with product owners, finance, and project management. - Partner with the Program Management Office to track benefits, risks, issues, and progress across initiatives. Required Skills: - Expertise in Agile, Lean, Business & Operations modeling, Design Thinking, and digital strategy. - Deep understanding of business architecture frameworks and IT strategy alignment. - Experience with business capability modeling, value stream mapping, and customer journey design. - Strong cost‑benefit analysis and business case development capabilities. - Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills. - Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools/methodologies. - Analytical mindset and robust problem‑solving abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline (preferred). - Relevant professional certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Certified Business Architect) are desirable but not mandatory.
