Data Architect
**Role Summary**
Design, build, and govern scalable marketing data pipelines that ingest, transform, and model engagement data across platforms such as Sitecore, Salesforce, and the Google Marketing Suite. Enable end‑to‑end visibility of the buyer journey and support AI‑driven analytics and personalization initiatives.
**Expectations**
- Deliver robust, high‑quality data pipelines that meet performance, security, and governance standards.
- Ensure consistent data capture, tagging, and event structures to enable accurate analytics and AI modeling.
- Act as the primary bridge between analytics, marketing technology, and IT, translating business requirements into actionable data solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, Spark, SQL, and Python.
- Integrate data from Sitecore, Google Marketing Platform, Salesforce, LinkedIn, 6sense, and other digital systems into unified models.
- Develop and enforce data governance, quality, and security frameworks aligned with enterprise standards.
- Create unified data models that merge engagement, content consumption, account signals, and opportunity information.
- Build and maintain data dictionaries, taxonomies, and schemas for consistent analytics consumption.
- Lead data readiness efforts with the Martech team, defining tagging and event tracking requirements.
- Conduct regular data audits to verify capture of critical events, attributes, and identifiers across systems.
- Define structures for capturing web behavior, personalization events, and user interactions in Sitecore and related platforms.
- Support analytics teams in developing journey‑based insights and triggering personalized actions.
**Required Skills**
- Expertise in Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Spark, SQL, and Python for pipeline development.
- Proven experience integrating marketing platforms: Sitecore, Salesforce, Google Marketing Platform, LinkedIn, 6sense.
- Strong data modeling knowledge with a focus on marketing data structures.
- Solid understanding of data governance, security, and quality best practices.
- Ability to translate analytical needs into platform configurations and integration designs.
- Experience with event tagging, tracking standards, and data skeleton development.
- Collaborative mindset with IT and analytics stakeholders.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications such as Databricks Certified Data Engineer, Azure Data Engineer Associate, or AWS Big Data Specialty are highly preferred.
