Enterprise Security Architect
**Role Summary**
Lead design, implementation, and validation of cybersecurity capabilities across a global organization. Serve as the technical authority for security architecture, guiding risk mitigation, tool selection, and policy alignment, while coordinating cross‑functional teams and vendor relationships.
**Expectations**

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to security engineers and analysts.

- Drive continuous improvement of security posture, awareness training, and incident response readiness.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Threat Landscape Management: Continuously gather and analyze threat intelligence to update threat models.
2. Control Design & Architecture: Identify risks, design controls, recommend processes, configurations, and technologies.
3. Standards & Documentation: Develop, update, and enforce cybersecurity standards, procedures, and documentation.
4. Vendor & Procurement: Define requirements for security products and services; oversee vendor selection and evaluation.
5. Implementation Leadership: Lead rollout of security technologies, ensuring alignment with policies and standards.
6. Tool Oversight: Provide guidance on operation of EDR, firewall, email security, vulnerability management, application security, and identity solutions.
7. Business Integration: Interface with business units to embed security best practices and identify compliance opportunities.
8. Security Awareness: Collaborate with training teams to enhance security awareness programs.
9. Program Planning: Develop and manage the overall security program and multiple concurrent projects.
10. Incident Response Support: Assist incident handling processes and conduct post‑incident reviews.
**Required Skills**
- Deep knowledge of security best practices (encryption, data protection, privileged access, etc.).
- Expertise in standard security technologies (DLP, MDM, SIEM, AV, IDS/IPS).
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (PCI, GDPR, CCPA).
- Proficiency in network, identity, and application security concepts and protocols.
- Ability to design secure architectures and evaluate technology solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proven project management, planning, reporting, and prioritization skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years in a senior Security Engineer or Security Architect role.
- Relevant certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, AWS/Azure Security Specialty, or equivalent.
