Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Financial Analyst **Role Summary:** Provide analytical and financial reporting support to senior management, drive accurate month‑end close processes, and identify cost‑saving opportunities. Serve as liaison across finance and clinical operations to forecast, analyze results, and embed new revenue‑and‑expense initiatives into plans. **Expectations:** - Deliver timely, error‑free management reports and variance analyses. - Own month‑end close journal entries and continuous process improvements. - Communicate insights clearly to senior leaders and cross‑functional teams. - Demonstrate ownership, prioritization, and business acumen. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare period‑end management reporting; conduct variance analysis vs forecast, plan, and prior year. - Execute month‑end close journal entries and refine close activities. - Resolve discrepancies and streamline reporting with finance and non‑finance stakeholders. - Conduct payroll analysis (hourly, salary, fee‑for‑service, indirect labour) for cost‑saving and capacity insights. - Model new revenue and expense initiatives and quantify financial impact for decision‑making. - Collaborate with clinic leaders to integrate initiatives into plans and forecasts. - Produce ad hoc reports and analyses as needed. **Required Skills:** - 4+ years finance experience with strong attention to detail. - Ability to perform sound analysis and comparisons with guidance. - Proficient in Excel; knowledge of Power BI and macros is an asset. - Effective verbal and written communication. - Adaptive, self‑directed, and able to meet deadlines. - Strong business sense and eagerness for continual learning. **Required Education & Certifications:** - University degree in Business, Accounting, Commerce, or related field. - CPA, CFA, or equivalent finance/accounting designation is a plus.
