**Job Title** Business Analyst **Role Summary** Supports Data Engineering, Business Intelligence (BI), and AI functions by translating business needs into technical requirements and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver data-driven solutions. **Expectations** 3+ years as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or equivalent role in data-driven environments. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct stakeholder discovery sessions to identify business needs and define data requirements. - Translate business objectives into detailed functional/non-functional requirements for data, reporting, and AI/ML projects. - Document data sources, metrics, transformations, quality rules, and update frequencies for analytics workflows. - Define KPIs, reporting structures, and UI/UX specifications for dashboards and tools. - Collaborate with BI developers to design reporting layouts, mockups, and data mappings. - Facilitate training and change management to support user adoption of new systems. - Maintain documentation (business requirements, project plans, user stories) to ensure transparency and traceability. - Act as a liaison to resolve communication gaps between business and technical teams. **Required Skills** - Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI). - Understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and lake house architecture. - Ability to interpret SQL and structured query languages for data validation. - Problem-solving, attention to detail, and prioritization of multiple tasks. **Required Education & Certifications** Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
