Job Description
**Job Title** Social Relations Legal Intern (Stage – December 2026) **Role Summary** A six‑month internship supporting the Human Resources Legal team of a multinational asset‑management group. The incumbent will work on individual employee matters, collective social dialogue, and HR projects under the direction of the Head of Social Law. **Expectations** - Current law student or trainee in a Master II Social Law / Employment Law programme. - Motivated to apply social law to real‑world cases in France and abroad. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross‑functional HR team. - Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills. - Proficiency in English; French fluency mandatory. - Prior exposure to a law firm or corporate legal environment is an advantage. **Key Responsibilities** *Individual Employee Relations* - Draft, analyse, and secure contractual clauses (employment contracts, amendments). - Implement and monitor disciplinary and fitness‑related procedures in collaboration with HR Business Partners. - Participate in individual case management alongside HRBPs. - Handle pre‑contentious and contentious matters in partnership with in‑house counsel. *Collective Relations* - Prepare materials for the Works Council (CSE) and the Health & Safety Committee (CSSCT). - Support negotiation meetings for collective agreements. - Adapt HR practices to meet social‑law requirements in international jurisdictions. *Legal Support & HR Projects* - Write legal notes, thematic analyses, and maintain a social‑law watch. - Contribute to the design and delivery of internal training resources. - Participate in cross‑functional HR projects: process review, compliance documentation, change‑management support. **Required Skills** - Legal drafting and contract review for employment law. - Understanding of collective‑agreement frameworks and employee‑employer relations. - Proficiency in legal research and summarisation. - Strong written and verbal communication; capability to produce clear, concise documents. - Team‑player mindset with the ability to collaborate across functions. - Adaptability to international legal contexts and language nuances. - Good command of French and English; additional languages welcome. **Required Education & Certifications** - Law degree with ongoing Master II Social Law / Employment Law studies (or equivalent). - Legal trainee (stage) status or completion of a short practicum in a law firm or corporate legal department preferred. - No additional certifications required at this stage.
