Job Description

Job Title: DevOps Engineer Role Summary: Mid‑to‑Senior level engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable AWS cloud infrastructure. Leads automation of CI/CD pipelines, develops Python scripts for operational tooling, and ensures high reliability, performance, and security of production systems. Expectations: - Demonstrate 5+ years of professional cloud engineering or DevOps experience. - Deliver measurable improvements to deployment speed, system reliability, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform and AWS SAM. - Build and maintain GitHub Actions pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows. - Create Python scripts for automation, monitoring, alerting, and system integration. - Troubleshoot production incidents and collaborate with development teams to resolve deployment bottlenecks. - Develop and enforce automation frameworks for security, performance, and availability. - Analyze infrastructure metrics and logs; propose and implement optimizations. - Continuously improve engineering tools, policies, and processes. Required Skills: - Terraform, AWS CloudFormation/SAM, and other IaC tools. - GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline design. - Proficient in Python scripting. - Strong grasp of cloud architecture principles and infrastructure‑as‑code best practices. - Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability in cloud environments. - Problem‑solving mindset and effective communication across teams. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred). - Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) or equivalent experience.
