Job Description: Job Title: Banking & Personal Data Legal Counsel Role Summary: Provide expert legal support in banking law and data protection for a fintech environment. Draft, negotiate, and review contracts and legal documents (service agreements, partnership deals, IOBSP mandates, PSEE contracts). Advise product and commercial teams on compliance, conduct legal research, monitor regulatory updates, and manage data protection processes—including registers, privacy impact assessments, and CNIL complaints. Expectations: * 3 + years of experience in banking or fintech. * Master II (equivalent) in Business/Commercial Law or Banking Law. * Strong analytical, synthesis, and initiative‑driven mindset. Key Responsibilities 1. Draft and negotiate banking service contracts and partnership agreements, ensuring compliance with DORA, DSP3, and other regulations. 2. Maintain and update legal documentation (CGU/CU, terms & conditions, legal notices). 3. Provide legal expertise to operational teams for new product/service launches. 4. Conduct legal research on banking, payment, and consumer law matters. 5. Review marketing and sales communications for legal compliance. 6. Monitor regulatory developments; produce risk assessments and recommendations. 7. Manage the data protection register, conduct privacy impact assessments, and write procedures and controls. 8. Draft, negotiate, and monitor data‑processing agreements and data clauses in contracts. 9. Advise on operational data requests; handle CNIL complaints and access requests.
