**Job Title** Internal Communications Assistant **Role Summary** Provide support in planning, creating, and distributing employee‑focused communications that inform, engage, and align team members with company objectives. Work closely with executives and cross‑functional leaders to translate business updates into clear, warm, and impactful messages across email, intranet, and internal social channels. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑quality written and visual content that reflects company culture and initiatives. - Maintain and update the communications calendar and event coordination. - Track engagement metrics to refine messaging strategy. - Assist during operational issues or crises by ensuring timely, accurate updates. **Key Responsibilities** - Draft news updates, leadership messages, announcements, and other written communications. - Create visual and digital assets for email, intranet, and internal social platforms. - Gather and highlight stories that showcase people, culture, and operational achievements. - Prepare materials for leadership meetings, town halls, and team events. - Monitor and report on engagement and feedback, providing insights to improve clarity and reach. - Support crisis communication, coordinating consistent messaging across teams. - Coordinate events, campaigns, and recognition activities that reinforce company values. **Required Skills** - Excellent written communication and storytelling ability. - Strong organization, time‑management, and attention to detail. - Ability to simplify complex business updates into engaging content. - Collaboration and stakeholder management skills. - Proficiency with digital engagement platforms (e.g., intranet, email marketing tools). - Basic design, video, or editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar). - Experience creating content for internal social or corporate communication channels. **Required Education & Certifications** - Diploma in Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). - No specific certifications required, but familiarity with content management systems and analytics tools is advantageous.
