Job Title: Cloud Architect
Role Summary:
Lead end‑to‑end platform migration from legacy systems (e.g., Salesforce) to a modern, cloud‑native, multi‑tenant SaaS architecture. Own architecture design, production code delivery, and engineering mentorship while driving best‑practice adoption across the organization.

- Senior‑level ownership of architecture, design, and delivery.

- Demonstrated success in large‑scale SaaS platform migrations and multi‑tenant deployments.
- Commitment to code quality, CI/CD practices, and AI‑augmented development workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement the migration roadmap from legacy platforms to cloud‑native solutions on GCP.
- Design, develop, and ship production‑grade services in TypeScript/Node.js (and React for UI components).
- Build REST and GraphQL APIs for internal and customer‑facing applications.
- Define and enforce cloud architecture patterns, including microservices, event‑driven design, containerization, and serverless.
- Lead infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, Pulumi) and CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
- Mentor and coach engineering team members through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
- Evaluate, prototype, and select cloud services and third‑party technologies to validate architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps.
- Leverage AI tools and Google AI services to accelerate development and embed AI‑augmented engineering practices.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of hands‑on software development and production code delivery.
- Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform: GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Vertex AI.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Experience with Firebase services (Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Functions).
- Strong command of microservices, event‑driven architecture, containerization, and serverless patterns.
- Skilled in infrastructure‑as‑code with Terraform or Pulumi.
- Established competence in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
- Expert API design and implementation (REST, GraphQL).
- Proven ability to mentor and lead technical teams.
- Passion for AI‑assisted development and familiarity with AI tool integration.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification (or equivalent) highly desired.
