Job Title: Software Founding Engineer
Role Summary:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of a cloud‑native AI banking platform. Own core product components across AI/LLM, backend, and frontend technologies, collaborating directly with founders to steer technical strategy.
Expectations:
- Drive rapid, autonomous product development from concept to production.
- Own end‑to‑end solutions for AI models, cloud infrastructure, and user interfaces.
- Maintain security, scalability, and regulatory compliance for financial data.
- Deliver measurable product milestones with minimal hand‑off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train, fine‑tune, and optimize large language models (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) and construct prompt libraries.
- Build and maintain Python‑based backend services; architect RESTful APIs and integrate third‑party financial APIs.
- Develop high‑quality front‑end experiences using Swift (iOS), Flutter, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Design and implement scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (or equivalent).
- Collaborate with founders to define product roadmap and technical vision.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization.
Required Skills:
- Expert Python programming with practical experience in AI/GenAI libraries (e.g., Hugging Face, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Hands‑on experience with large language model training, fine‑tuning, and prompt engineering.
- Proficiency in backend architecture, API design, and cloud services (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- Front‑end development in Swift for iOS, Flutter for cross‑platform, and web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS).
- Strong understanding of security best practices, data encryption, and regulatory compliance for fintech.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and independent decision‑making abilities.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field from a reputable university.
- (Optional) Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Architect) or AI/ML may be beneficial.
