Job Title: Head of Marketing
Role Summary:
Lead the marketing organization for a high‑growth space‑technology startup, translating complex radar satellite solutions into compelling narratives and driving brand, demand generation, and pipeline growth across physical AI, infrastructure, industrial, and government/defense markets.
Expectations:
- Establish and grow a high‑performing marketing team in a fast‑moving, startup environment.
- Deliver integrated marketing strategies that increase brand recognition, lead volume, and revenue contribution.
- Collaborate closely with sales, product, and business development leaders to align all marketing efforts with commercial priorities.
- Manage a disciplined marketing budget, track ROI, and forecast marketing’s contribution to pipeline and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute brand strategy, positioning, and narrative for the company’s electric radar products.
- Develop go‑to‑market and channel plans in partnership with CBO and Head of BD.
- Design, launch, and measure integrated campaigns that drive awareness, pipeline, and customer acquisition.
- Build and coach a nimble marketing team; establish processes, KPIs, and continuous improvement loops.
- Partner with Design to activate product marketing, talent branding, demand generation, content strategy, and communications.
- Lead executive visibility, editorial initiatives, and media relations to position the company as a category leader.
- Create sales enablement assets, customer success stories, and technical content for diverse stakeholders.
- Forecast, budget, and realistically track ROI; report marketing impact on pipeline and revenue.
- Keep marketing strategies in sync with evolving product roadmaps and commercial plans.
Required Skills:
- 7–10 years of B2B/B2G or consumer marketing leadership, with 3+ years in a director‑level or equivalent role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing integrated marketing programs that drive brand awareness and revenue growth in complex markets.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication; ability to simplify sophisticated technology for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Comfortable balancing strategic vision with hands‑on tactical execution.
- Experience scaling marketing in startup or high‑growth tech environments.
- Strong storytelling acumen and familiarity with creative, new‑media approaches.
- Exposure to fundraising with VCs and strategic investors valued.
- Background in product marketing for emerging technology or complex systems, and/or market research in frontier tech sectors.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering, or related field (master’s preferred).
- No mandatory certifications, but knowledge of ITAR compliance and U.S. Government export regulations is required; U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or eligibility for required authorizations.
