**Job title** Business Development Representative **Role Summary** Drive sales growth and client retention for senior care services within a defined territory in Eastern Ontario. Build and maintain strategic partnerships with customers, suppliers, and industry associations; promote products and services through consultative selling, program planning, and industry events. **Expectations** - Achieve or exceed sales targets in the assigned region. - Expand the client base and strengthen existing relationships while meeting financial objectives. - Travel within the territory (25‑30 %) and attend trade shows, conferences, and partner meetings as required. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to meet objectives. 2. Build and sustain relationships with key customers, suppliers, and industry bodies. 3. Conduct consultative selling and promote products/services to assigned segments. 4. Plan and deliver in‑services, education programs, and regional meetings to increase brand presence. 5. Attend trade shows and industry events to generate leads and showcase the brand. 6. Identify cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities and collaborate with multifunctional teams to pursue them. 7. Serve as the primary contact for allocated accounts, ensuring customer needs are met. 8. Analyze territory data, report insights, and recommend improvements. 9. Manage the annual budget for activities and programs within the territory. 10. Report new product ideas, market trends, and competitive insights. **Required Skills** - Proven business development and partnership building in long‑term or senior living markets. - Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation abilities. - Excellent verbal and written communication; active listening and professional demeanor. - Analytical mindset for data-driven decision‑making. - Ability to prioritize, multitask, and learn new skills rapidly. - Customer‑focused with the ability to anticipate client needs. - Willingness to travel routinely; capacity to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally. **Required Education & Certifications** - Post‑secondary education (College/University) with emphasis on business or health‑care services. - Relevant experience in long‑term care, retirement, or senior living sectors.
