Job Description
Job Title: Senior Developer Role Summary Design, build, and maintain a new internal pricing platform for a (re)insurance environment. Lead the development of pricing models, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. Expectations - Deliver high‑quality, scalable pricing solutions. - Collaborate with actuarial, product, and data teams to translate pricing requirements into technical specifications. - Maintain code quality, documentation, and version control best practices. Key Responsibilities - Develop, test, and deploy pricing algorithms using .NET and SQL. - Integrate pricing models with existing systems and data sources. - Optimize database queries and application performance. - Provide technical guidance to junior developers and stakeholders. - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. - Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills - Proficiency in C#/ASP.NET Core and SQL Server. - Experience building pricing or actuarial models. - Strong understanding of pricing logic and statistical models. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and DevOps practices. - Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
