Job Description: Job Title: Junior Robotics Software Engineer Role Summary: Contract-based robotics software engineer responsible for migrating and enhancing the robot fleet’s software stack to ROS2, improving reliability, performance, and observability, and building reusable internal tooling for large‑scale deployments. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality, fault‑tolerant code, own end‑to‑end features, work independently yet collaboratively, rapidly learn new technologies, and maintain strong delivery cadence in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities - Lead migration of existing robotics applications to ROS2 and define the new architectural standard. - Engineer resilience, performance, and uptime improvements for the robot fleet and supporting infrastructure. - Design modular, reusable core software components, observable for field‑deployed systems. - Build an internal development suite to streamline engineering workflows and accelerate cycle times. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with other teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
