**Job Title:** Network Engineer (M/F)
**Role Summary:**
Responsible for reviewing, configuring, documenting, and upgrading all network infrastructure components (fiber/MPLS links, routers, firewalls, Wi‑Fi, VLANs, IP addressing, servers, PCs, printers, etc.). Implements cybersecurity audit recommendations, manages projects and vendor relationships, and establishes IT support and backup procedures.
**Expectations:**
- Demonstrate strong expertise in Windows server/PC administration, networking hardware, and cloud services.
- Deliver end‑to‑end network upgrades while ensuring security, reliability, and documentation standards.
- Lead project planning, coordinate with external providers, and maintain service continuity.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Conduct comprehensive review of existing network assets.
2. Configure routers, firewalls, Wi‑Fi, VLANs, IP schemes, cabling, and related hardware.
3. Produce and maintain detailed operational procedures and documentation.
4. Implement cybersecurity audit recommendations and develop disaster‑recovery (PRA) and backup processes.
5. Plan, schedule, and manage network upgrade projects.
6. Manage relationships and contracts with external service providers.
7. Administer Office 365 services (mail, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams).
8. Manage virtualized environments, hypervisors, and GCP‑based VMs, firewalls, and backups.
**Required Skills:**
- Windows Server and Windows PC administration.
- Network device configuration (routers, firewalls, Wi‑Fi, audio‑visual equipment, printers, UPS, alert systems).
- Office 365 administration.
- Virtualization/hypervisor management and GCP cloud services.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Ability to design and document IT support processes, incident tracking, PRA, and backup procedures.
- Project management and vendor coordination skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure/365, GCP Associate/Professional, ITIL, CISSP or equivalent security cert.) preferred.
