**Job Title**
SharePoint On-Premises Engineer (M/F)
**Role Summary**
Design, administer, and evolve SharePoint On-Premises farms (2013/2016/2019/SE) for a large banking group, ensuring performance, security, and business alignment. Lead migration, reconstruction, and deployment of new farms across DEV, TEST, and PROD environments, supporting end‑to‑end delivery and documentation.
**Expectations**

**Key Responsibilities**
* Plan, execute, and validate full farm migrations (2019 → SharePoint SE).
* Perform backup, restore, and re‑configuration of existing farms (databases, services, IIS, certificates).
* Provision new SharePoint SE farms (VMs: Front‑End, App, SQL), domain join, service accounts.
* Configure core services (Search, Managed Metadata, User Profile, etc.) and ensure correct Alternate Access Mapping.
* Restore and attach content databases (ContentDB, ConfigDB, ServiceDB) onto new farms.
* Conduct post‑migration consistency tests (site access, authentication, services, jobs, ULS logs).
* Author and update technical documentation (DAT, DEX, server schematics, PowerShell deployment scripts).
* Support application teams during UAT and final validation.
* Capture lessons learned to industrialize future migrations.
**Required Skills**
* SharePoint installation, configuration, and migration on 2013/2016/2019/SE.
* Advanced administration of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
* PowerShell scripting for automation, audit, migration, and restore.
* SQL Server management (backup/restore, AlwaysOn, SharePoint database handling).
* IIS management (app pools, SSL certificates, bindings).
* Authentication: AD, FBA, Kerberos.
* Basic knowledge of DNS, F5 load balancers, and application routing.
* Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and team communication abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
* Relevant SharePoint / Microsoft certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator) is highly desirable.
