Job Description
**Job Title** Cloud & DevOps Engineer (F/H) **Role Summary** Design, automate, and maintain cloud and DevOps processes for a high‑value client project. Serve as the primary liaison between the team and the managed service provider while integrating API management and monitoring solutions in an agile environment. **Expectations** - Participate fully in agile ceremonies (planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives). - Automate build, release, and deployment pipelines. - Act as the interface with the infrastructure operator. - Manage and integrate the client’s API management platform. - Oversee environment configuration, maintenance, and performance. - Deploy and configure monitoring tools across the stack. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and maintain CI/CD workflows (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.). - Script and automate provisioning with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, etc.). - Configure container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm) and related tooling. - Integrate and support API gateways and management platforms (Apigee, Kong, Azure API Management). - Implement logging, metrics, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or equivalent. - Collaborate with security teams to embed best practices (secrets management, vulnerability scanning). - Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and post‑mortems. - Document processes, architecture, and runbooks. - Facilitate knowledge transfer within the team and to the managed service provider. **Required Skills** - Strong proficiency with DevOps tooling (CI/CD, IaC, containerization). - Excellent command of Git, Bash, and scripting; familiarity with JavaScript and Python. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their DevOps services. - Familiarity with API management solutions and RESTful architecture. - Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. - Ability to work in a fast‑paced agile team and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Industry DevOps certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) highly preferred.
