Job Title: AI Automation Engineer
Role Summary
Design, implement, and maintain AI‑driven automation solutions that optimize business processes and reduce manual effort. Collaborate with business leaders, IT, and AI/ML teams to deploy agentic AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, UiPath, and cloud AI services, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant automation across the enterprise.
Expectations
* Deliver end‑to‑end automation projects that improve productivity by at least 15% within the first 6 months.
* Maintain and iterate on existing AI automation portfolio, ensuring high availability and performance.
* Stay current with emerging AI and automation technologies, recommending enhancements that align with strategic digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and evaluate business processes suitable for automation using AI agents and workflow orchestration.
2. Design and prototype AI automation workflows, configuring tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, UiPath, and other low‑code platforms.
3. Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications via APIs, RPA scripts, and conversational AI frameworks.
4. Test, validate, and monitor AI‑driven automation, troubleshooting issues and applying continuous optimization.
5. Document automation workflows, requirements, and best‑practice guidelines for knowledge transfer.
6. Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and governance policies throughout automation deployment.
7. Collaborate with IT leadership to align automation initiatives with overall digital strategy and scalability objectives.
Required Skills
* Strong knowledge of workflow automation, business process optimization, and AI‑powered automation tools.
* Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, UiPath, or equivalent platforms.
* Proficiency in scripting and API integration for building automation workflows.
* Familiarity with cloud AI services (Azure AI, AWS AI, Google Cloud AI) and LLMs.
* Understanding of natural language processing and conversational AI.
* Analytical and problem‑solving abilities to assess process suitability and recommend AI solutions.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
* Ability to learn quickly and iterate on AI automation strategies.
Required Education & Certifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience in automation development or AI‑driven workflow optimization.
* Optional: Master’s degree in a related field or certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, AI automation, or cloud AI services.
