Job Title: Intermediate Identity Management Engineer
Role Summary:
Design, configure, and implement identity and access management solutions in a complex enterprise environment. Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and deliver projects on time while ensuring security compliance and operational excellence. Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting, and user support across on‑call and day‑to‑day responsibilities.
Expectations:
* Maintain an active, working mobile phone and be available for business calls, texts, and support 24/7 during on‑call duty; reasonable availability outside of on‑call shifts.
* Conduct end‑to‑end testing, QA, and documentation of system configurations.
* Coordinate with vendors, third‑party services, and internal teams to optimize performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather functional and technical requirements from stakeholders.
- Design and implement identity management, governance, and privileged access solutions, including AD, MFA, SSO, OAuth, SAML, LDAP.
- Develop and maintain web applications (C#, .NET, HTML5, CSS, JS) and data integrations (PL/SQL, SQL, SSIS).
- Perform system configuration, performance tuning, and security hardening (password hashing, SSL/TLS, encryption at rest).
- Test, troubleshoot, and resolve issues; provide training and support to end‑users.
- Document solutions, procedures, and best practices.
- Lead on‑call support, monitor system health, and manage incident response.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience with PL/SQL, SQL (MSSQL, MySQL).
- 3+ years with C#, .NET, and object‑oriented design patterns.
- Intermediate knowledge of identity management, AD, privileged account management, MFA, SSO, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP.
- Understanding of network security protocols (HTTP, TCP/IP, FTP, OAuth, SAML, MFA).
- Familiarity with security concepts (password hashing, SSL/TLS, XSS, CSRF).
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, jQuery, AJAX.
- Experience with version control (Git, SVN, Perforce, TFS/Azure DevOps).
- Strong verbal and written communication; technical documentation skills.
- Customer‑service orientation, ability to train staff.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology or related field.
- Preferred: experience in healthcare information systems, project management, ITIL principles, Agile tools (JIRA), HITRUST framework, performance tuning, and SSIS package development.
