Job Description
**Job title:** Customer Renewals Sales Specialist **Role Summary:** Drive renewal agreements, subscription conversions, and expansion opportunities for existing customers, focusing on On‑Prem and SaaS Observability solutions. Manage the full renewal lifecycle, collaborate with sales engineers, and use consultative sales techniques to secure contract extensions and upsells. **Expectations:** • Achieve monthly and quarterly renewal and expansion targets. • Convert at least 30 % of renewal prospects to new or upgraded subscriptions (specific target may vary). • Maintain a high renewal pipeline and close deals before expiration. • Provide customer feedback to product and support teams to improve experience. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own and administer end‑to‑end renewal process; ensure timely contract extensions. - Identify and pursue subscription conversion opportunities around SolarWinds Observability (SWO‑Self Hosted, SWO‑NICO, Flex SKU, etc.). - Conduct consultative sales conversations to uncover customer needs, articulate value, and present tailored solutions. - Draft, negotiate, and close renewal or upsell quotes; manage pricing negotiations. - Partner with Sales Engineers to deliver relevant product demos addressing technical and business objectives. - Capture and update accurate pipeline and account data in Salesforce. - Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (Sales, CS, Support) to deliver seamless renewal experience. - Approaches new business, partner or channel expansion within assigned market. - Meet or exceed set sales metrics and forecast accurately. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience in subscription sales, renewals or customer success. - Strong consultative sales and negotiation abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, Outreach, NetSuite, etc.). - Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail. - Comfortable working in a customer‑centric sales environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred. - Prior certification in CRM usage or sales methodology (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, HubSpot Sales Software) is an asset.
