**Job Title:** Head of IT
**Role Summary:**
Strategic leader responsible for scaling and directing the global IT function, overseeing infrastructure, service delivery, enterprise applications, security, and vendor management to enable a high‑growth, remote‑first organization.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 10 + years in IT operations or enterprise application management.
- 8 + years of people‑leadership experience.
- Proven ability to lead complex, high‑growth environments and build high‑performing teams.
- Strong stakeholder communication and change‑management skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define and execute the vision and roadmap for global IT operations (network, end‑user support, SaaS administration, identity & endpoint security).
- Lead design, deployment, and integration of enterprise systems (GL, ERP – e.g., NetSuite, HRIS – e.g., Workday, CRM – e.g., Salesforce).
- Own service availability, incident management, and reliability; implement monitoring, metrics, and escalation processes.
- Partner with Security & Compliance to enforce data‑privacy, access controls, device management, and regulatory standards (SOX, GDPR).
- Manage third‑party vendors, contracts, SLAs, and procurement for infrastructure and software.
- Establish ITSM practices (ticketing, knowledge base, change and configuration management).
- Drive user‑first service culture: onboarding/offboarding, support ticket resolution, self‑service tooling.
- Recruit, coach, and scale IT operations and enterprise applications teams; promote agility, documentation, and service excellence.
**Required Skills:**
- Expertise in ERP (NetSuite), HRIS (Workday), CRM (Salesforce) and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency with endpoint/device management tools (Jamf, Intune) and identity solutions (Okta, Azure AD).
- Experience with service management tools (Jira, Zendesk).
- Deep knowledge of application architecture, systems integration, and IT governance.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications) are advantageous but not mandatory.
