Job title: Software Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain systems that support the entire investment lifecycle—including research, trading, risk management, funding, and settlement—within a fast‑paced financial environment. Work closely with investors, quantitative researchers, and investment teams to deliver commercial outcomes and improve operational efficiency. Expectations: • Deliver high‑quality, scalable software solutions that meet evolving business needs. • Demonstrate critical thinking, problem‑solving, and adaptability in a dynamic setting. • Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders and contribute to cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities: • Architect and implement robust software components in Java, C++, or Python. • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and unit testing to ensure code quality. • Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose optimizations. • Collaborate with investment teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. • Manage multiple concurrent development tasks and prioritize work under tight deadlines. • Maintain and enhance existing trading, risk, and settlement platforms. • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to financial services. Required Skills: • Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience. • Solid computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, OOP, concurrency). • Expert proficiency in Java, C++, or Python (at least one). • Proven track record of software design, implementation, and deployment. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Team‑player mindset with effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement. • Self‑driven, able to juggle multiple tasks in a demanding environment. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
