Job Title: Data Scientist, People Analytics
Role Summary:
Provide data science and analytics solutions to the People, Places & Systems organization, enabling data‑driven HR strategy across talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance programs, and operations. Drive end‑to‑end analysis, build scalable analytical products, and act as an analytics consultant to HR, Talent Acquisition, and Finance stakeholders.
Expectations:
- 4+ years of professional experience in SQL, R/Python or analytics engineering.
- Strong statistical programming and BI tool expertise (Tableau, Looker, Hex).
- Proven track record executing cross‑functional projects and delivering actionable insights to executive leadership.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Self‑driven, intellectually curious, and capable of working independently or in teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Finance partners to design data solutions that support strategic initiatives.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses on large datasets to diagnose operational challenges and recommend solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain data products and automated workflows that scale analytical offerings.
- Ensure high data integrity and analytical rigor, delivering defensible insights under ambiguity.
Required Skills:
- SQL (4+ years).
- Statistical programming in R/Python (4+ years).
- BI tools: Tableau, Looker, Hex (4+ years).
- Experience with enterprise HR/People data systems (Greenhouse, Workday, Qualtrics) – 2+ years.
- Causal inference, experimental design, and statistical modeling – 2+ years.
- Data orchestration and transformation tools (Airflow, dbt) and pipeline deployment – 2+ years.
- Strong interpersonal communication and stakeholder management.
Required Education & Certifications:
- MBA, Master’s, PhD, or equivalent in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering, or related quantitative fields.
