Job Description
Job Title: Senior Data Scientist, Ecosystems Role Summary: Supports creators' membership monetization by building data-driven product features, conducting quantitative research, and leading cross-functional collaboration to optimize platform strategies. Expectations: Develop impactful data products, drive experiment-driven decision-making, and translate complex insights into actionable recommendations for product, engineering, and leadership teams. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement product features enhancing creator monetization. - Conduct statistical research and analysis to inform product strategy and define success metrics. - Design and execute hypothesis-driven experiments to validate opportunities for membership growth. - Collaborate with machine learning/data engineering teams to build minimum viable data products. - Communicate technical insights clearly to stakeholders across organizational levels. - Act as a technical and cultural leader, fostering data science best practices. Required Skills: - Advanced SQL proficiency; Python or R expertise for statistical analysis. - Strong statistical inference skills for experimental design and hypothesis testing. - Analytical problem-solving ability to translate data into real-world business applications. - Experience balancing tradeoffs between speed and accuracy in high-impact decisions. - Excellent communication skills to simplify complex technical outputs for diverse audiences. - Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with product, engineering, and design teams. Required Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related quantitative field. Equivalent practical experience considered.
